CMUCam3 | |
The CMUcam3 is an ARM7TDMI based fully programmable embedded
computer vision sensor. The main processor is the Philips LPC2106
connected to an Omnivision CMOS camera sensor module. Custom C code
can be developed for the CMUcam3 using a port of the GNU toolchain
along with a set of open source libraries and example programs.
Executables can be flashed onto the board using the serial port with
no external downloading hardware required. Make sure to check
www.cmucam.org for the most up to date documentaton and Quick-Start
guides.

The uCAM-RS232 (microCAM) is a highly integrated serial camera module which can be attached to any host system that requires a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera for embedded imaging applications.The module uses an OmniVision CMOS VGA color sensor along with a JPEG compression chip that provides a low cost and low powered camera system. The USB-GPIO12 is a general purpose processor module using the PIC18F14K50. This chip has a USB module built in which Devantech has used to implement Microchip's HID Boot-loader. This boot-loader is already programmed into USB-GPIO12 and ready for use. The USB-GPIO12 is powered from the USB bus and the 5v supply is available for your own circuits. Maximum current required by the module is 20mA with both LED's on, leaving 80mA available to your circuits from a standard 100mA USB port.
